Our Management Team
Jack has been compounding for over 20 years and has a lot of experience in all aspects of compounding. Jack is the Head pharmacist and owner of ACPHARM. Jack loves working with both humans and animals. He has completed various veterinary, cosmetic, nutritional and pharmaceutical training courses to further his knowledge in compounding. Jack is a highly sought after compounding chemist and has designed and set up more than 5 compounding chemists as well as being a guest speaker at compounding conferences around Australia. With experience in manufacturing, cosmetics, veterinary, nutrients, children’s and geriatric compounding, Jack is able to help with all Compounding inquiries.
In Jacks free time, he enjoys spending time with family & friends, BBQing & smoking meats.
Sam, co-owner and Jack’s better half, has a burning passion for compounding which started when she first helped out making capsules in the lab over 18 years ago. Over the years, Sam has obtained a lot of skills and experience working over all departments, and now oversees all staff and processes within the pharmacy. As the owner, Sam takes a keen interest in customer service and ensuring our staff are all trained up to provide the highest level of service possible. Sam also manages our Private Label Skincare department, with her prior experience as a beauty therapist.
When not working, Sam enjoys spending time with her husband (jack) & daughter, music and socialising with friends.
Phoebe has been working with ACPHARM for over 10years and has worked her way up the ranks to become our General Manager. Phoebe has outstanding customer service skills, and is a great multi tasker with the ability to perform every task within our busy pharmacy. Phoebes hard work managing our staff and pharmacy operations ensure that our customers will receive their medications in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
During her spare time, Phoebe enjoys spending time with her 2 kids, family & Friends
Pailin completed her Masters of Pharmacy in 2012 , Bachelor of pharmaceutical science in 2010 and Bachelor of Health Science (Major in Naturopathy) in 2021. Pailin has been in Compounding for over 4 years now, however has 16 years experience in the pharmacy industry. Pailins recent training in naturopathy gives her an edge, and a big interest in nutritional, herbal and natural compounds, including working with medicinal cannabis.
Pailin looks forward to learning more about formulation of new compounds and excited to make individualised medicine with tailored doses and flavours.
Sam has been working with ACPHARM for 1 year. Previous to joining us Sam worked in retail pharmacy in Ballarat, locuming and managing pharmacies for a local pharmacy chain for over 15 years, even assisting to open Ballarat’s first drive through pharmacy before moving to the Gold Coast in 2025. What Sam likes most about compounding is that every product is specific to the patient, created to cater for their specific needs.
When not working Sam likes to ride his bike, go hiking or play golf.
Jennie has been with ACPHARM since March 2025. Since graduating with a Master of Pharmacy from Griffith University in 2009, she has worked in several community pharmacies on the Gold Coast and later gained Swedish pharmacist registration, practising in Sweden for six years. Working within two different healthcare systems broadened her perspective as a pharmacist. During her university degree Jennie particularly enjoyed the compounding courses. Jennies favourite part of being a compounding Pharmacist is being able to find solutions when regular options are either not available or insufficient and the ability to tailor the strength, dosage form, account for allergies or taste and even combining medications to really personalise the medication according to individual needs.
When not working Jennie enjoys relaxing time with her family.
Kayla has been a laboratory technician with ACPHARM for over 4 years, and has recently been promoted to Laboratory Manager. With 6 years experience over 3 different compounding pharmacies and lab skills learnt from Biomedical Science, Kayla brings an eye for accuracy and a variety of skills and training to our team. Kaylas favourite part about Compounding is the hands on approach to making a customised product from start to finish and ensuring it is made perfectly.
