Hany Samy graduated from the faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University Egypt with Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences with Excellence and Honours. Hany began his career in 2004 as a Research and Teaching Assistant in the medicinal chemistry department of the faculty of Pharmacy. He participated in many research projects, including synthesis of more selective antiprostate cancer drugs and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hany joined ACPHARM in early 2010 as a member of the Research and Development team. His role is in developing new dosage forms and new products. Hany lead the development of oral strip technology at ACPHARM and has been key in the development of improved transdermal formulations. He is also a member of the analytical team and has participated in stability studies for numerous products.
In 2012 he finished his study in Australia and became a member of AHPRA as a registered pharmacist and is currently a member of the academic advisory committee for the development of an advanced practice higher degree in pharmaceutical compounding and the Australian College of Pharmacy.
